Toppan Printing has been recognized with a Bronze Class SAM Sustainability Award for the second consecutive year. The company is also once again the only Japanese company to receive an award in the Commercial Services & Supplies sector.
RobecoSAM assesses the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance of companies around the world, with those demonstrating outstanding performance being ranked and recognized with awards. Bronze Class awards are granted to companies recording a score of at least 54 points and ranking in the top 10% of companies in their sector. This year, RobecoSAM reviewed 4,710 companies, bestowing Bronze Class awards on 85 of them, with Toppan performing particularly well in areas related to the environment, such as climate strategy and environmental reporting.
The company joined the United Nations Global Compact in 2006 and aligns its activities and targets with ISO 26000 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Its multifaceted activities and efforts to contribute to a sustainable society have received widespread recognition.
