EGGER thrills American exhibition visitors
Successful appearance for Austrian wood-based materials manufacturer at the IWF 2016 in Atlanta.
EGGER was represented at the American trade fair IWF and showed off decors, textures and materials on its exhibition stand in expert fashion. On the innovatively designed exhibition area, visitors were able to familiarise themselves with the EGGER product and service range in all its facets, decors, colours and surfaces.
In various practical applications, EGGER demonstrated the versatility of the PerfectSense lacquered panels in gloss and matt, the Feelwood synchronised pore surface and the laminates with a coloured core. The IWF offered the wood-based materials manufacturer a perfect stage, on which its products were presented to the furniture industry, fabricators, specialist retailers and architects. “Besides our answers to American furniture and interior design trends, we also showed off trends from Europe and were very well received by the trade fair visitors,” says Georg Prager, Head of Overseas Sales/Marketing at EGGER, drawing a satisfied summary.
No more compromises
EGGER placed a strong emphasis on the issue of matching decors and materials during its appearance at the IWF. A large number of decors are available from the wood-based materials manufacturer on a wide range of support materials; from the classic melamine-faced chipboards or MDF boards through to lightweight boards and compact laminates. In addition to these, EGGER supplies melamine and ABS edging, perfectly matched with the decor and texture. When it comes to design therefore, there must be no compromises. “Customers no longer have to worry from which supplier they purchase which product and whether the decors also go together. With us they get everything from a single source and can work in a carefree manner with good advice,” says Georg Prager.
Services at a technically high level
A key element of the EGGER exhibition stand at the IWF was the new EGGER POS, the “brand in space” concept. With this new concept of the “brand in space”, EGGER sets itself and its retail partners apart from conventional showroom solutions, as the POS provides the opportunity to offer advice and sales to customers. The new point-of-sale can be used flexibly and was developed for all product areas within the EGGER Group. EGGER also presented VDS, the Virtual Design Studio, to the IWF visitors. This offers customers and fabricators unlimited variety in the design and visualisation of furniture and interior designs. Various space scenarios are available to the user, which can then be adapted individually with EGGER decors.
