“NEXT”: Interprint Makes a Statement towards the Future
Decor specialist presents new products at Design Post in Cologne Germany from May 21st to 24th
(ARNSBERG, GERMANY, April 4, 2019) The historic halls of the former parcel post office in Köln-Deutz are a central point of contact for design enthusiasts. Here, international furniture brands present their collections throughout the entire year. From May 21st to 24th, the international decor printer Interprint will take a look at the future in this fitting ambience. Under the headline “NEXT”, Interprint will present selected furniture and flooring decors, innovative topics, and the results of new cooperations, making a confident statement towards the future.
A significant portion of the future of interior will be contingent upon the development of decors: Innovations with regards to materiality, haptics, or technical features, as well as current color trends will provide interior design impulses and the furniture industry with the opportunity to serve the individualized customer needs of tomorrow. With “NEXT”, in May Interprint will hoist decor to the next level and provide all visitors with solid answers to the questions of today – several of these answers are sure to be a surprise.
Yellow arrows will show visitors the path through the Design Post to Interprint, who will present their version of the future throughout two levels: New material worlds will be shown next to exciting cooperations, as well as design classics next to state-of-the-art technologies. Different functional zones will flow into one another. In a future-oriented manner, Interprint will demonstrate the opportunities arising from digital printing and has several innovations working in their favor, which visitors of the Design Post can experience for the first time.
The decor design of the future will also be accompanied by a full-service offering that splits up the entire bandwidth of application opportunities: With melamine surfaces or the finish foil Xelio, haptic effects are achieved, thereby satisfying one’s growing desire for materiality and authenticity.
All developments are characterized by a major player: the customer. In a guest commentary of a trade journal, last year Salvatore Figliuzzi asked “Do we actually know what the consumer really wants?” Within the scope of the NEXT exhibition, Interprint will show a new way to receive market feedback early on.
“Whoever is interested in the development of interior design and would like to learn the next steps Interprint will take to drive it forward will be impressed by ‘NEXT’,” says Salvatore Figliuzzi. “For these four days, the Design Post is a must-go for international professional visitors from the furniture and woodwork industry, as well as for architects, designers, shopfitters, and anyone who is interested in design. In a stylish and calm ambience, we will present the future of decor and provide time and space for a relaxed dialogue far away from the stress of the trade fair.”
Interprint’s temporary showroom can be reached within walking distance from the Koelnmesse: From the east entrance, it takes just a few minutes to get to the Interprint exhibition at the Design Post.
