Timber Products and Panolam Announce West Coast Partnership

EUGENE. Ore. – Timber Products announced today a partnership with Panolam Surface Systems.

Timber Products will become a West Coast supplier of Panolam Thermally Fused Laminate (TFL) as a part of its Spectrum division’s product line. Panolam sold their Albany, Oregon TFL production facility in July and has been looking for a partnership to enhance its offerings for West Coast clients. Timber Products’ manufacturing capabilities and distribution network made this an ideal fit for both companies.

Timber Products will serve existing Panolam distributors in California, Utah, New Mexico, Nevada and Colorado. Timber Products and Panolam are confident the partnership will serve the distribution market with no interruptions.

“This partnership will open up a tremendous amount of opportunities,” said Timber Products Vice President, David Smith. “By being a partner of Panolam in the West Coast, we will be able to provide products that have been in short supply for customers. We look forward to bringing our manufacturing expertise and using Panolam surfaces to produce high-end products for customers throughout the west.”

“We were looking for a customer-focused partner and we found that in Timber Products,” said Panolam Executive Vice President, Jeffrey Muller. “We are excited about the opportunity to build on each other’s strengths and increase our reach on the West Coast. This is a natural partnership for both of us.”
