Georgetown, ON. November 5th, 2018 – Olon Industries (Ontario, Canada) and LICAR spa (Pordenone, Italy) are pleased to announce the formation of a joint venture company called “OL Frontal Solutions, LLC”. The JV will operate from Olon’s Jeffersonville, IN plant and focus on manufacturing high volume, fully assembled 5-piece cabinet doors and drawer fronts for major customers in North America.
OL Frontal Solutions will bring to the United States LICAR’s leading edge European designs and world class manufacturing technology to complement Olon’s North American expertise in designing and manufacturing profile wrapped moldings and components for the cabinet market.
Production will begin in early 2019.
It is expected the partnership will provide significant benefits for LICAR’s existing US-based customers including reduced lead times, lower inventory levels, improved logistics and reduced currency risk. For Olon’s customers, the partnership will provide the opportunity to complement existing door programs with high volume products with exceptional quality and value, due to the utilization of new state-of-the-art manufacturing technology and processes.
