Olon Industries is pleased to announce the appointment of Gregory J. Stoner as President and Chief Executive Officer.
Georgetown, ON. February 13th, 2019 – Olon Industries (Ontario, Canada) is pleased to announce the appointment of Gregory J. Stoner as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Stoner comes to Olon from his most recent position of President and CEO of Metrie, a manufacturer and distributor of molding and millwork products across the US and Canada. Prior to his tenure at Metrie, he had been President of MasterBrand Cabinets. Mr. Stoner brings 35 years of experience, including roles at General Electric and Newell-Rubbermaid, prior to joining MasterBrand Cabinets, a division of Fortune Brands Home and Security in 2004.
In addition to the overall responsibility for Olon Industries, he will also have responsibility for OL Frontal Solutions (OLFS) the joint venture formed in 2018 with LICAR spa (Pordenone, Italy). The JV operates from Jeffersonville, IN and the plant will focus on manufacturing high volume, fully assembled 5-piece cabinet doors and drawer fronts for major customers in North America.
As he joins the team, Mr. Stoner shared, “I am very excited to be joining Olon and OL Frontal Solutions, as well as coming back to an industry I have a tremendous amount of passion for. I’m looking forward to meeting the many Olon associates, as I travel to the various operating locations over the next few months.” he added.
