Boise Cascade achieves TSCA VI certification

BOISE, Idaho – Boise Cascade Company (Boise Cascade) (NYSE: BCC) is pleased to announce their La Grande, Oregon particleboard facility has achieved EPA TSCA VI certification on March 15 and is currently labeling products. This is well in advance of the EPA’s June 1, 2018 deadline for compliance.

TSCA VI (Toxic Substances Control Act) regulates emissions from composite products and hardwood plywood manufactured or imported into the United States. Boise Cascade historically has provided particleboard products that are at or below regulated formaldehyde emission standards.
