Atlantic Plywood Announces Expansion in Southeast United States

Atlantic Plywood is expanding their business into the Southeast and will be the exclusive Formica distributor in these markets effective April 6. Atlanta and Charlotte represent Atlantic’s eleventh and twelfth locations and exemplify the company’s focused growth model.

“With the expansion, our sales associates will look to increase demand for the Formica brand by supporting growth with existing customers and targeting opportunities to develop new relationships,” said Tony Millhouse Vice President of Sales, Parksite, “Customers can expect fully stocked warehouses with every color of Formica laminate, next-day delivery, highly knowledgeable customer service and sales teams, combined with best-in-class operations and logistics teams.”

Parksite acquired Atlantic Plywood Corporation in January 2018.  “The purpose of the acquisition of Atlantic Plywood was to combine the resources of two great companies and expand into areas we couldn’t reach separately. Creating one company to deliver product solutions from premium surfacing materials to industrial wood products, to specialty building products, will provide customers an unmatched resource in our markets”, stated Ron Heitzman, CEO of Parksite Inc.  “This is the second phase of our planned expansions throughout our territories.”
