NBMDA Announces 2018 Award Winners

DALLAS  —   Earlier today, the North American Building Material Distribution Association (NBMDA) recognized 2018 NBMDA award recipients at the 2018 NBMDA Annual Convention.

The recipient of the NBMDA Growth Award is Bill Delaney.

The NBMDA Growth Award recognizes an NBMDA member who has made outstanding contributions in furthering NBMDA growth from increasing engagement with current members, growing support from industry partners and exceptional efforts in member recruitment. Bill Delaney, from Distribution Services Inc., played a critical role in amassing distributor participation in the 2018 NBMDA Financial Benchmarking Survey and relaunching this program.

The recipient of the NBMDA President's Award is Michael Donnelly.

Michael Donnelly, from Metro Hardwoods, served as president of NBMDA from 2017-2018.

"Michael's dedication, energy and enthusiasm have all contributed to the many accomplishments that took place this year," said Missy O'Daniel, NBMDA's President-Elect. "On behalf of the association, thank you for all your hard work, commitment and friendship."

Additionally, 21 companies celebrated their membership anniversaries with NBMDA in 2018. NBMDA thanks these firms for their continuous membership.
