National Office Furniture makes furniture donation to VUJC
National Office Furniture donated furniture to Vincennes University Jasper (VUJC) to be used in two student lounge areas.
National donated Swift and Fringe lounge furniture, Reno lounge seating, Whimsy impromptu seating, and Mio collaborative tables.
The VUJ campus encompasses approximately 140 acres and the donated furniture resides in the administration building to be used by students as an Honors Lounge and in a commons area. With over 500 students and 25 programs of study, the university delivers courses leading to an occupational degree, transfer pathway, or workforce training.
“This donation is another example of our continued dedication to improving the communities in which our employees reside,” said Angie Kleinhelter, National’s Director of Human Resources. “We are proud to be able to donate furniture that will provide a space for students to relax and socialize while collaborating or having heads-down, study time.”
As an innovator in educational furniture design, National’s products offer comfortable, durable solutions with integrated technology capabilities, that are an ideal fit for higher education facilities. National’s broad portfolio of solutions provide furniture options that are flexible, mobile, stylish, and affordable to create dynamic spaces that foster learning.
“We are thankful to National for donating products for our student spaces,” said Christian Blome, Vincennes University Jasper’s Assistant Vice President and Dean. “Our students are going to love these spaces and use them for a variety of activities. We are proud to provide them with furniture that is supportive of their needs and is locally made.”
In addition to National’s donation, Kimball International also makes an annual monetary contribution to the VUJ Foundation.
