HOOD RIVER, Ore. — Murray’s Furniture here has opened an Ashley HomeStore at the location of its former Murray’s Furniture Clearance Center.
Murray’s relocated its Trading Post location from downtown Odell to 1105 Tucker Road in Hood River 15 years ago and began business as Murray’s Furniture Clearance Center. During that period it developed a strong relationship with Ashley Furniture, as the supplier’s products would come to make up the majority of sales for the store.
Murray’s was selected as an HomeStore candidate in 2017, a “credit to the amazing growth potential of the Columbia River Gorge and the phenomenal sales that the company has experienced in the area through the two Murray’s Furniture locations,” Ashley said in a release.
“Our goal at Murray’s Furniture has always been to bring the residents of the gorge affordable, high quality furniture, mattresses, and accessories at a low price and to do so with outstanding service,” said Greg Murray, Owner. “We firmly believe that our partnership with Ashley will only serve to further that ideal.”
