Major Leadership Transitions at Interprint USA

Interprint USA recently announced two leadership transitions, beginning a new chapter for the company.

In 2024, the Interprint Group (Arnsberg, Germany) accepted a request from Bill Hines, Jr. to step down from his role as a Managing Director at Interprint USA and transition into an advisory position with the company.

On April 1, 2025, Manoj Vengalil was promoted from Managing Director to Chief Executive Officer of Interprint USA.

Vengalil joined Interprint USA in 2003 and rose quickly through the organization, becoming Director of Finance within two years. Since 2009, he has been a key member of the company’s executive leadership team, contributing to and leading the implementation of key projects. In 2023 he was appointed to the role of Managing Director, and with his appointment to CEO, Vengalil now leads Interprint USA into its next era of growth and innovation.

“I am honored to step into the role of CEO at Interprint USA, a company with a rich legacy and a steadfast commitment to excellence in the North American décor printing market, which we have proudly served for over 40 years," said Vengalil. “As we look to the future, my focus will be on strengthening partnerships, delivering exceptional value, and fostering innovation. Together with our dedicated team, we will continue to build upon Interprint’s reputation as a leader in the décor printing industry.”

In his new advisory role that begins June 1, 2025, Hines, Jr. will continue to support Interprint USA and the Interprint Group on strategic initiatives related to the North American décor printing market. “This next phase of my Interprint career will allow me to focus on strategic projects that will benefit our company and its customers – and allow more time to spend with my family. I look forward to serving Interprint and its customers in this new role,” Hines remarked.

Interprint Group CEO, Jens Bauer praised Hines’ contributions to the company. “Bill has played a significant role in the successful development of Interprint, Inc. over the past 28 years,” he said. “We deeply respect his decision and thank him for his extraordinary service to Interprint USA.”

To further strengthen the leadership team, Senior Vice President of Sales, Michael Marchand, and Purchasing and Facilities Manager, Jason Baumgart, have been promoted to the company’s executive leadership team. Both bring more than 25 years’ experience to Interprint and will join Vengalil (22 years), Technical Manager David Murray (35 years), and Director of Communications Peter Stasiowski (18 years) in guiding the company forward.

INTERPRINT, headquartered in Arnsberg, Germany, was founded in 1969 and has been part of the Japanese TOPPAN Group since November 2019. INTERPRINT operates nine production sites across Germany, Poland, the USA, Malaysia, China, Russia, Brazil, and Spain, with sales offices in Italy, Türkiye, South Africa, and China.
