IWF is Back!
After canceling the International Woodworking Fair in 2020, North America’s largest woodworking technology and design trade show and conference opened Tuesday, August 23, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.
With 925 exhibitors showcasing products and services in more than 540 categories, IWF 2022 serves as the first U.S. global woodworking fair since 2018, and offers a look at new equipment and new lines, designs and exclusive U.S. product introductions.
Both exhibitors and attendees said they were thrilled to be able to meet in person once again.
“It feels like the excitement of a strong marketplace has been growing during this show’s four-year hiatus,” said Patrick Adams, president of 526 Media Group, which publishes Surface & Panel Magazine. “The number of in-person meetings and new product releases show that this industry is optimistic–and there’s no signs of slowing down.”
Attendees crowded to visit the many booths throughout the massive convention center, with one person overheard saying they were glad the show lasted until Friday since it would take them at least that long to try and see everything.
