JAMESTOWN, N.C. — Furnitureland South will unveil a new 30,000-square-foot office furniture showroom in its corporate headquarters building just before the official start of High Point Market next week.
Furnitureland Contract, the Top 100 company’s newest division, has invited Angelo Adamo, founder and owner of Angelo Adamo Design to speak to designers and other furniture industry professionals during the 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. event on April 13.
The new showroom at 5635 Riverdale Drive in Jamestown, N.C., “focuses on designing offices and workspaces of all kinds,” the retailer said in a release.
“Like other employers, we understand how difficult it is to attract and retain talent in a competitive workforce,” said Jeff Harris, Furnitureland South CEO and president. “We created North Carolina’s premier contract furniture showroom to give those companies a competitive advantage with ergonomic and stylish office solutions.”
The new division’s mission is “to be a turnkey solution for businesses, nonprofits and other public and commercial spaces,” the retailer said, “striving to create efficient workspaces for each company’s unique and diverse needs.”
Contract specialists will take into consideration variables such as space planning needs, furniture evaluations, accessory additions, technology solutions and more.
“Our team takes the time to truly understand your business and focus on solving key business needs with a furniture solution that caters to an office of any kind,” added Daniel Whicker, director of Furnitureland Contract. The showroom will feature furniture and other solutions for corporate offices, medical centers, educational facilities, restaurants, country clubs, hotels and other public spaces.
Among the vendors in the category featured on its website: Allseating; Bernhardt Design, Calligaris, Councill Contract, Davis Furniture, Flexsteel, Global Furniture Group, Harden, Mowhawn and Spec Furniture.
