An inventive chair designed to give the illusion of movement from every angle is the grand-prize winner in Formica Corp’s 2018 FORM Student Innovation Competition. Rachel Marie Thompson, a student at Michael Graves College at Kean University in Union, New Jersey, took top honors with her “Deflextion” design, which uses three Formica laminates: Bright White, Graphite Grafix and Black.
