The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) welcomes Eric Marshall, principal of the Closet Training Institute and renowned closet and storage industry entrepreneur, as an NKBA Global Connect Advisor. Marshall joins the association’s team of North American industry advisors, a valuable membership benefit included in its international business development program.
NKBA Global Connect is designed to help manufacturers understand business practices in the North American kitchen and bath sector, reduce risk and prepare for successful entry into the market. NKBA Global Connect Advisors are key to this preparation sharing insights, experiences, and connections as part of the process.
Marshall, an effervescent speaker and trainer, was the first employee of California Closets founder Neil Blater, a pioneer in the storage and organization industry. For the past 20 years, he has run his own custom cabinet and closet business in Scottsdale, Arizona. He is co-founder of The Closet Training Institute and is immediate past president of the Association of Closet and Storage Professionals (ACSP). He shares his expertise in woodworking, storage and closet organization in seminars and at trade events around the world.
Membership in the Global Connect program offers access to a wide range of strategic business advisors who are able to consult on topics including distribution strategies, regulations and compliance, finance and insurance, product design and development, among others. The program aims to inspire, inform, strengthen and empower the kitchen and bath industry around the world.
“It’s a great privilege to have Eric Marshall join us as a Global Connect Advisor,” said Geraldine Morrison, Chief Partnerships Officer, Domestic & Global Brands, for NKBA. “His comprehensive knowledge of organization and storage systems will bring a range of valuable insights to our NKBA members. The closet and storage segments are an important growth segment for the NKBA as European Furniture Systems continue to penetrate the North American market.”
The NKBA represents more than 55,000 North American kitchen and bath industry professionals and owns the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), scheduled for February 25-27 in Las Vegas. Visit www.nkba.org or https://kb.nkba.org/globalconnect for more information.
