Travel to LIGNA 2025 free of charge and CO₂-neutral within the greater Hanover area – the Climate Ticket makes it possible starting March 21, 2025. Deutsche Messe, in cooperation with the ÜSTRA network, is taking a strong step toward sustainable mobility. From now on, all exhibitors and visitors to Deutsche Messe trade shows – including LIGNA 2025 – are automatically authorized to use local public transport within the ÜSTRA network with a valid visitor or exhibitor trade show ticket. This regulation also applies to media representatives with a valid trade show press pass.
“With the new Climate Ticket, we are enabling all LIGNA participants to travel to the trade fair conveniently, cost-effectively, and sustainably. Just in time for LIGNA’s 50th anniversary, this is a great early birthday present. As a company, we are actively contributing to reducing CO₂ emissions while also easing the burden on transport infrastructure and enhancing Hanover’s attractiveness as a trade fair location,” says Dr. Jochen Köckler, CEO Deutsche Messe AG.
Public transport information for LIGNA participants
The LIGNA visitor ticket, exhibitor pass, or valid press pass also serves as a ticket for local public transport in Hanover and the surrounding region (ÜSTRA network). This regulation applies even if different information is printed on previous tickets.
