Charlotte, N.C. August 9, 2019 – Cefla North America welcomes Kristen Riggs, Event Planner and Communications Specialist. Riggs joins Cefla with over 10 years of B2B experience in the plastics, waste, and reusable packaging industries. Kristen is an accomplished marketing professional with an wide range of marketing campaign development and project management experience. She is a Charlotte native and received a BSBA in Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Riggs joins the Cefla team from Otto Environmental Systems North America, Inc., (OESNA), a Charlotte-based B2B plastics manufacturer. OESNA is a full-service products and service provider of injection-molded, heavy-duty plastic waste receptacles and other large-tonnage plastic products in the automotive, material handling, and consumer goods industries. While at OESNA Riggs held a number of progressive marketing roles. Most recently as Marketing Manager, Riggs served as leader and visionary of the company’s marketing initiatives. Her expertise formed brand-strengthening marketing campaigns that positioned the company as a leader in its market. She also performed data analysis that supported short and long-term corporate strategy development.
As Event Planner and Communications Specialist at Cefla North America, Riggs will continue Cefla’s legacy in providing industry-leading finishing equipment to the woodworking industry. Her contributions to overall business objectives will include management of the brand’s North American marketing program with specific activities surrounding corporate communications, private events and exhibitions, and campaign-related data analysis.
This fall Riggs will orchestrate CeflaLive11 2019 and Cefla’s Fall Tech Tour, both based in the Italian countryside. Cefla’s global headquarters in Imola, Italy operates a state-of-the-art Finishing Lab, the largest of its kind in the world. CeflaLive is an annual event showcasing the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in the finishing industry.
