AWFS Names Committee for 2025 Fresh Wood Student Competition
The Association of Woodworking and Furnishings Suppliers (AWFS) this week announced the committee for the 2025 Fresh Wood Student Competition, a biennial event showcasing the creativity and skill of United States woodworking students.

These dedicated professionals, many of whom have served as judges in prior years, will lead the 2025 competition and support the next generation of woodworking talent.
“I have been involved with Fresh Wood since 2003 as a teacher, judge, committee member and photographer and continue to be impressed with the quality of the work shown each time,” said Alan Harp, reflecting on his long-standing involvement with Fresh Wood. “Many of these students have continued on to have successful careers in the woodworking industry in a variety of capacities. Students are pushed to show their very best and the results are exemplary.”
