ALPI’s aesthetic research continues at Interzum 2019, one of the leading international trade fair for furniture production and interior design. Another important appointment for the company with the world of design that will be present with the new collections of wood surfaces recently introduced at the FuoriSalone 2019. An in-depth exploration of the material and its forms, to narrate the beauty and design possibilities of wood.
This year the new collections explore the natural environment to fully demonstrate the potential of ALPI wood, through collaboration with two very different designers.
While the former has explored new paths, together with ALPI, to push the boundaries of experimentation, creating the new wood “Gamperana Triplex,” a geometric texture that does not exist in nature, the latter has investigated the possible expressive languages of cherry wood, reinterpreting and enhancing it in three graded tones. Two collections in which different atmospheres can coexist: dynamic and innovative in the wood by Martino Gamper, warm and substantial in the cherry wood creations of Piero Lissoni.
Alongside the new designer collections for 2019, ALPI also exhibits the new ALPIkord collection, after its recent launch, a decorative wood surface that manages to combine the unique qualities of ALPI woods with the practicality of prefinished products. With this collection, the new Touch finish is being introduced, created to conserve the natural look of wood, thanks to a delicate surface treatment that produces a soft, pleasing tactile sensation.
A wide, versatile range of wood types, textures and chromatic variations to respond to any creative needs of designers, allowing to enhance the freedom of expression inherent to the use of a living material like wood, always at the service of architecture.
