Organizers of the 2024 Closets Conference & Expo say they saw record-breaking attendance for this year’s three-day show.
More than 1,100 attendees visited the Schaumburg Convention Center, April 17-19 for the annual event, touted as the only international show for the closets and home organization industry. The expo was co-located with Wood Pro Expo Illinois.

Closets Conference & Expo 2024 featured a variety of sessions and activities designed to help professionals in the closets and woodworking industry stay on top of the trends, technologies, and strategies for success. This year, in addition to a revamped ACSP Designer Exchange, the inaugural DESIGN Talks and live machinery demos, the show celebrated the annual Top Shelf Design Awards, sponsored by Sauder Closets.
Kathleen Jacobson of The Couture Closet won Best of Show for "High Gloss & Glamour in this Luxury Walk-In Closet.”
"Our cabinet team, J & J Construction & Cabinetry, used paint-grade maple plywood for all the woodwork and Baltic birch inside the drawers,” Jacobson said. “We designed an inset-style beaded shaker drawer and door front. Our clients wanted to dress up the cabinetry, so we added a bone trim to all the custom millwork."
The 2025 Closets Conference & Expo, co-located with Wood Pro Expo Florida, will take place June 11-13 in West Palm Beach, Florida. Officials say booth space for the 2025 event is going fast, with almost one-third of the expanded floor plan already sold.
