Printed Décor Paper
Decor paper printing is a particular form of rotogravure printing in which printing ink is applied to base paper with the help of rotating gravure cylinders. The result – decor paper – is delivered to wood-based panel manufacturers, which use it for surface embellishment of their products. Produced in woodgrain, stone and fantasy designs, our decor paper finds use in this way on furniture and flooring surfaces as well as interior installations.
Schattdecor´s new foil surfaces are an effective way of creating durable furniture surfaces with a realistic look and feel. The substrates, adhesive systems and coating techniques involved vary according to foil type.
Melamine film is printed decor paper impregnated with melamine resin. The product is used for decorative surface coating in the furniture and flooring industry. Impregnation with melamine resin is one of the most common means of decor paper finishing in the world. Our customers use melamine film to produce a heavy-duty surface for furniture, worktops, interior fittings and floorings. In the respective lamination process, the film is irreversibly fused to the substrate, resulting in a highly resistant finish.
Are you an interior designer, shop outfitter, booth constructor or architect? Our digital-print decors provide you a creative means of giving surfaces an individual look. Let our unique designs inspire you!
The simplicity of the organic-looking materials is reminiscent of Japanese minimalism, on the one hand, with a touch of Nordic influence, on the other. This collection is characterized by delicate, simple softwood, modern, calming light oak, and impressions of different materials including uniform bast fibers and unpretentious cement finishes. As for the color palette, this is heavily influenced by black, white, grey and beige.
The materials are characterized by their premium-quality finish. From bluish black and dark grey right through to classic black – these colors work equally well in combination with honey shades of wood or the sophisticated brown of oak or walnut, making black furnishings a truly versatile option. Black steel and modern gunmetal are also incorporated to subtle effect. This all combines to create a homely environment complete with elegant yet cozy touches. The surfaces are primarily finished with a matt or textured matt appearance to add to the natural look and feel. Various nuances of black establish a sense of balance while exuding real stylistic confidence.
Colorful decorations, such as oriental and Latin American textiles, can be combined with existing pieces of furniture to maximum effect. And as for graphic patterns, these can be found covering entire pieces of furniture such as coffee tables or sideboards. Furniture made of wood – including simple pine, natural oak or elegant walnut – sets a peaceful scene for an otherwise colorful and individual range of furnishings.
GLOBAL SPIRIT thrives on its vibrant color scheme, complete with a whole host of individual accent colors to choose from. The combination of materials is highlighted by its complementary colours and contrasting elements.
After all, creativity knows no bounds.
